MrGillatine This isn't a bad album. A lot of interesting story substance. my second fav track is #7 DIY. after hearing your previous albums 1st before this one; I was expecting the same flavor of sound and style. Instead this album to me went way opposite. took me a while to adjust. the lyrical bars are still Dope af! the beats were pretty cool too, just not what I was expecting. I learned a new artist personality trait about Veteran Eye. And that He's Versatile. good job on this project! Favorite track: MisEducate feat. ethemadassassin.

about

The Epic Tales of Chief DIY (Do-It-Yourself) in 432hz takes the listener on a journey through imagination, into a world of forbidden histories, folk lore, as well, as stories of Veteran Eye's experiences as a international independent traveling musician. Easily comparable to the 30 year classic "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick", Veteran Eye revisits the seemingly lost art of storytelling in Hip Hop. His magnetizing voice and wordplay sit over a golden era canvas of production driven by The Other Steve (Amsterdam), and assisted by Dr. Prime (Amsterdam), The Yeti (Luxembourg) and Twelvebit (Sweden). Mistro Beatz (Chicago) provides a few fillers of modern day Hip Hop templates, while Eric Amarillo (Sweden) drives home the world dance hit "Hayah" featuring Grammy Award winner (for Jai Ho-Slum Dog Millionaire) Tanvi Shah (India).
"The Epic Tales of Chief DIY" has a great cast of features who tag along for this eventful ride. including Betsy Craft, Pengeah's "Hotrox & Harvey Dentist", Tanvi Shah, Theolodge, A-i Digital, Joshh, Yung Legin, Tommy Flake and Ilana Lorraine of London.
Enjoy "The Epic Tales of Chief Do-It-Yourself and as always, thanks for your support.
